1. General
1.1. This program applies exclusively to SAKHACUBE spacecraft. The only active satellite as of now is SAKHACUBE-CHOLBON (RS18S). QSL cards are not issued for reception of other spacecraft.
1.2. QSL cards are issued only for independent, first-hand reception. Submitting images received by another operator is not allowed. If such a case is reliably determined, the application will be voided.
1.3. By participating in the program, the operator agrees to these rules.
2. QSL Criteria
2.1. Paper QSL cards are issued for the reception of at least 3 SSTV images during a single event or satellite pass. Duplicate images are permitted, provided they were received at different times, as confirmed by metadata or the operator's report.
2.2. Electronic QSL cards (eQSL) are issued for the reception of one or more correctly decoded SSTV images, and also for telemetry reception (unless otherwise stated on the event page).
2.3. Paper cards are not issued for telemetry-only reception, unless explicitly stated on the event page.
2.4. Partially decoded or heavily degraded images may be credited at the discretion of the operations team, provided the satellite's callsign or identification information remains discernible.
3. How to Apply
3.1. Applications are accepted by email at amsat@yksa.space or via the online form at qsl.yksa.space/qsl/submit. Using the form is preferred.
3.2. Each application must include:
- callsign;
- full name and postal address (for paper cards);
- date and UTC time of each received image;
- reception frequency (MHz);
- location (city or Maidenhead grid locator);
- screenshots or files of the received SSTV images in JPEG or PNG format; telemetry data;
- (optional) equipment used (antenna, receiver, decoding software).
3.3. Applications submitted without attached image or telemetry files will not be processed.
3.4. The deadline for applications is 30 days after the close of the event, unless otherwise stated on the event page.
4. QSL Card Delivery
4.1. Electronic QSL cards will be sent to the address provided in the application within 30 working days of confirmation.
4.2. Due to the complexities of international postal logistics, successful delivery of paper QSL cards cannot be guaranteed. The operations team will make their best effort to mail them. In the event of loss in transit, a replacement mailing will not be made; however, a scanned version of the card may be sent as an alternative upon request.
5. Miscellaneous
5.1. The operations team reserves the right to amend these rules at any time. The current version is always available at qsl.yksa.space/qsl/programs.
5.2. For any questions regarding the program, please contact: ops@yksa.space.
